Dr. Hatrak

Dr. Hatrak is affectionately known in the circles of professional athletes as a “Miracle Man”, “a Genius” for the results he has been able to deliver in the area of sports injury treatment and prevention.

A man passionate about eliminating chronic bio-mechanical injuries, Dr Michael Hatrak has been in practice for over 31 years specializing in sports medicine and performance. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic in 1976 from New York Chiropractic College (Columbia Division). In 1979, he was a professor at Pennsylvania Chiropractic College while maintaining a private practice in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

After years of research Dr. Hatrak came to the realization that Chiropractic care alone wasn’t enough to deliver the corrective care needed for professional athletes and the large increase of the “weekend warrior” crowd. Realizing there was a missing piece to the methods of treatments Dr. Hatrak discovered the solution with a man by the name of John Patterson. An extraordinary individual with an uncanny ability to see interrelationships within the bodies bio-mechanical structure, Mr. Patterson shared Dr. Hatrak’s passion for finding the missing link. Subsequently, along with Brian Glotzbach, Dr. Hatrak developed the foundation of SRT (Synergy Release Therapy).
Dr. Hatrak owes his success to his friend and mentor John Patterson who is the founding developer of this unique, one of a kind therapy that allows athletes to perform at their optimal level.

In the last 20 years the SRT team of doctors and practitioners have worked with over 400 NFL players from over 27 teams as well and pro athletes from all sports, keeping them at the top of their game.

Dr. Zoeller

Known as “Dr. Z”, Dr. Zoeller was a natural at understanding the complexities of Synergy Release Therapy and being able to apply the process with great success. His personal understanding of sports injuries came from his years of playing both high school and college football. Before he was “Dr. Z”, Mike was voted to the All Long Island Team his senior year. This team consisted of the best football players in Long Island, NY.  He received a scholarship to college for football where he played outside linebacker for Murray State in Kentucky and University of Connecticut.

Dr. Zoeller has been a partner of Dr. Hatrak for four years.  Together they treat some of the best professional athletes in the country.

Dr. Zoeller has 8 years of specialized practice in the medical field working with patients in sports medicine and rehab therapy.  As active Director and Partner of Synergy Release Therapy, Dr. Zoeller’s inter-disciplinary practices enable him to provide excellent care to athletes and sports injuries along with general injuries.

Previous medical experience includes serving as Associate doctor at Dr. Robert Schlampp and Dr. Michael Hatrak’s Alpharetta Spine and Physical Medicine practice.   Dr. Zoeller graduated from University of Connecticut with Bachelors in Science as well as Life University with Doctorate of Chiropractic. In his last year of Chiropractic school, Dr. Z worked as the trainer to the Life College Rugby Team. Zoeller’s post graduate study includes Physical Therapy from Kennesaw State University as well as a 3 year Radiology internship with Dr Robert Schlampp.

Dr. Zoeller still teaches radiology seminars all over US and Canada for Chiropractors. Dr. Zoeller also works and travels as a consultant to NFL Players in-season.  In his spare time, he enjoys weight lifting and boating with his wife and two daughters.

Dr. Malucci Synergy Release SportsDr Malucci did his undergraduate work at the University of Buffalo, specializing in exercise science and athletic training.  He accumulated countless hours of therapy and training with the university’s football, basketball, track, wrestling, soccer, and tennis teams. While this was an exciting career path, Dr. Malucci’s interest in the biomechanics and injury complex of the human body led him to the field of Chiropractic.

Dr. Malucci graduated from Life Chiropractic College in 2005 and continued his studies focusing on injury rehabilitation and prevention, sports chiropractic, extremity adjusting and human biomechanics.  While attending Life Chiropractic College, Dr. Malucci’s interest in the human body continued as he instructed human anatomy lab, aiding and performing human cadaver dissections.

After graduating, Dr. Malucci practiced at In-Balance Chiropractic with Dr. Alan Beckerman.  Dr. Malucci’s relationship with Dr. Beckerman proved to be invaluable as he learned to combine an in-depth knowledge of the musculoskeletal system with energetic and nutritional healing techniques; facilitating, initially, relief from pain and, ultimately, a genuine and lasting higher level of health and overall well being.  It was here Dr. Malucci learned the finer details of muscle testing structural and postural muscles to determine what imbalances, if any are present. These tests are biodynamic kinesiological muscle challenge and will reveal previously undiagnosed weakness and hypertonicity, both a cause of future breakdown.

In 2007, Dr. Malucci found Synergy Release Sports.  Lightening struck twice.  Dr. Malucci was fortunate to find another brilliant mentor times two, Dr. Hatrak and Dr. Zoeller.  Dr. Hatrak and Dr. Zoeller took Dr. Malucci under their wing introducing him to Synergy Release Therapy as a technique to achieve the necessary balance between nerves, muscles, and bones that prevents overuse injuries, and aid in the resolution and rehabilitation of inevitable injuries that do occur in sports or in life.  His experience has given him the amazing opportunity of adjusting numerous professional athletes and celebrities.  He has also had the privilege of traveling to NFL cities including Cincinnati, Cleveland and Baltimore to treat the athletes before they step out on the field.

In Dr. Malucci’s spare time he enjoys a quiet life with his wife, Trisha and two sons, Jaiden and Joshua.  He has a passion for sports, music and working out.  His future aspirations include being in the dugout at the World Series.

Dr. Marchman Synergy Release Sports

As our sole female Synergy Release Physician, Dr. Kristin Marchman brings a unique dynamic to the practice.  Her smile and energy coupled with her intellect make her an asset to Synergy Release Sports.

Growing up in Prospect, Ohio with two older brothers, Dr. Marchman developed a love for sports early in life.  In her mind, the four seasons consist of winter, spring, summer, and football season.  She was always intrigued by the human body, buying her first skeleton in the 5th grade and proceeding to memorize all the bones of the body.

Throughout high school, Dr. Marchman suffered from migraine headaches. Eventually the limitations of conventional medicine led her to a chiropractor who would make an incredible impact on her life.  The results she achieved were phenomenal, and Dr. Marchman knew she had found the career for her.  After graduating with High Distinction from Ohio Northern Univeristy, she moved to Marietta, Georgia where she would attend Life University and graduate Cum Laude.

Dr. Marchman landed at Synergy Release Sports through her internship and fell in love with the technique.  Simply put, she says, “It gets people out of pain faster than any other technique I’ve used.  Seeing people come in burdened with pain and walking out pain-free gives me immediate satisfaction.”  She believes that all individuals – not just athletes – can benefit from the SRS technique, and welcomes patients from all branches of life.

Dr. Marchman has a passion for serving others and cannot imagine doing anything else.  Outside of the office, she is involved with Mountain Lake Church and loves being active, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Tyler, and cat, Mai Tai.
